Chairman’s Notes
Gwyn first heard of Michael Frayn’s ‘Alarms and Excursions’ when she listened to a performance of one of the plays on the radio. The other plays in the collection turned out to be just as funny and so it seemed the perfect choice for our Autumn Production.
The set proved a challenge to the produc on crew, especially the provision of two sets of identical props; however it did not defeat our wizard set designer, Derek Pitter, who disappeared into his workshop and reappeared some weeks later with the goods. The sound was also a difficult task but was efficiently dealt with by our sound crew.
As always our cast stepped up and gave the script their all.
