Cyn Kimble has chosen two exciting one-act plays for our next production on
Thursday 27th. Friday 28th, Saturday 29th March, Upham Village Hall
The plays are ‘Audience’ by Michael Frayn and ‘Cup Final’ by Charles Mander.
The read through on 6th January was well attended, and both plays were enthusiastically received. Cyn writes:
‘Auditions will be on Sunday 12th January from 2pm – 4pm in the hall. Anyone who missed the readings is very welcome to come on Sunday and/or contact me for details or to borrow copies.’
Cyn’s number is 01489 860327, email cynandroy@btinternet.com.

Looking forward to it, loved the read through!
The read through was so exciting – lots of potential for some fascinating and hilarious characters-as well as some “food for thought.” I am looking forward to casting it on Sunday and then the rehearsals will be such fun – and a bit of a challenge.
Anyone who missed the read through – please come along to the Hall on Sunday from 2pm – 4pm.
The casting of the two plays is now finalised and I am so pleased with the way it has worked out! We’ve started work on designing the set and finding props so it’s all systems go! I cant wait for the first rehearsal on Monday.
The first rehearsal was great, thank you Cyn. This play is quite unlike anything I’ve been in before so it’s a challenge but immense fun.
Tickets are now on sale, Adults £7.50 Concessions £5.50.
Please ring 01489 860342 to book.
Everyone is doing a marvellous job, lots of laughs and a brand new set.
Fab production, well done everyone and thank you all, especially Cyn for all your hard work. Excellent team work once again from the Upham Players!
