[UPDATED – 17TH JANUARY 2018] The Upham Safari Supper was another great success this year with over 100 people taking part. A massive thank you to Ali and Simon for hosting the final course where we raised nearly £700 for Maggie’s Cancer Centre which is due to be built in the grounds of Southampton General Hospital in the near future.
Upham Safari Supper
The Safari Supper next year is on Saturday 13th January 2018 and for those of you who haven’t taken part before this is a very relaxed village event where a dozen or so people host one of either a starter or a main course and then we all meet up together for puddings and a bit of a party. Once we know who is coming, we work out a grand plan so that everyone is with a different group for each course and hopefully also different people from last year!
We need to know the following:
- Are you coming?
- Do you want to host a course or bring something for the pudding course?
- If hosting, which course would you prefer to prepare and for how many?
- Any dietary requirements?
Please could you share this with any new arrivals in the village? It is a great way to meet new neighbours and a lot of fun catching up with old friends.
