Our next production is ‘Alarms and Excursions’ by Michael Frayn.
In a faceless foreign hotel two couples share adjoining identical bedrooms. The couples, though very different, start to behave in a very similar manner. Meanwhile when four friends meet for a quiet night together, little do they realise that their evening will be reduced to a shambles by the modern technology that is meant to make our lives easier. What are these electronic voices trying to warn of and will they get the message before disaster strikes? Let’s hope so, as there are three more plays and lots more characters to entertain before the evening is over.
