Welcome to The Blessed Mary, Upham

Thank you for dropping by. I hope this website will be helpful in telling you something about the life of the Blessed Mary, its congregation, groups and activities. In our church family, we seek to encourage each other in our knowing and living for Jesus Christ, no matter what our age or preferences in worship style. Joining a church can be daunting at first, but I hope that you will soon find yourself at home and make friends.

If you would like more information please do pick up a leaflet in the church or read our monthly Parish News magazine. If you would like to speak to someone there are a number of useful contacts. We look forward to getting to know you.

Rector of The Blessed Mary Church,
Upham & St Peter’s, Bishop’s Waltham

Upcoming Services

We are not able to meet as one large gathering at the moment, so we are going to use the opportunity to do something different for the Sundays of September and October.

The 10:30 am

(at St Peter’s, Bishops Waltham)

We will be meeting outside at St Peter’s in various groups and we would love you to come along to join in the exciting and interesting journey we will have week by week. Families with children and young people are especially welcome and wider family and friends too. (More informaton soon)

The 9 am

(at St Peter’s, Bishops Waltham or online)

Our service is a time to worship God in a more traditional and reflective way using familiar Anglican words, prayers, hymns and music. This service can be attended at St Peter’s in person or online using the Facebook or YouTube accounts.

The 11 am

(at Blessed Mary, Upham)

Our weekly village service at 11 am is a time to worship God with words, prayers, hymns and music to engage with all.
1st 2nd and 3rd Sundays – Communion
4th Sunday – Morning Worship
5th Sundays – Matins

Mid-week Services

‘The 10 am’ (Thursday) St Peter’s

Our midweek congregation will be meeting again fortnightly for a traditional Book of Common Prayer service as well as fellowship and friendship before and afterwards. We hope to re-start coffee and cake afterwards as soon as we can.
