ASSETS OF COMMUNITY VALUE
Lower Upham Store
Winchester City Council has received notice of the owner’s intent to dispose of the Lower Upham Stores, Winchester Road, Lower Upham, SO32 1HD.
As a registered community asset and in accordance with Section 95 of the Localism Act, the following community interest groups can submit an expression of interest:
- a Parish Council
- a charity
- a community interest company
- a company limited by guarantee
- an industrial and provident society
An expression of interest signifies that a community interest group would like six months in order to prepare a competitive capital bid for the Lower Upham Stores.
As a result of a previous notice of intention to dispose dated 22 September 2015, a disposal of this property on or before 22 March 2017 (being the expiry date of the current protected period) would be a relevant disposal.
