Dial-a-Ride operates on Friday mornings, picking up passengers from their homes and taking them to Bishop’s Waltham town centre, where they have over an hour and half before returning home. The cost is just £1 for senior citizens. This service tries to meet the need for elderly people in rural locations to get to the town centre for shopping, the doctor’s surgery, or the library.
